Blitzen’s Blackberry Booze

A Blackberry, Basil, and Whisky Cocktail

Ingredients

• 1/2 Cup Fresh Blackberries + more for garnish

• Small Handful of Basil Leaves + more for garnish

• 1oz Simple Syrup

• 3oz Whisky

• 4oz Club Soda/Sparkling Water

• Ice

Recipe

1. Add the blackberries and basil leaves to your cocktail shaker

2. Using the end of a rolling pin or other tool muddle the blackberries and basil by gently mushing them together

3. Add the Simple Syrup (1oz), Whisky (3oz), and Ice to the cocktail shaker

4. Shake aggressively until cold and well combined

5. Pour the contents of the shaker evenly into two glasses prepared with ice

6. Pour over the Club Soda (4oz divided evenly between the glasses)

7. Garnish with additional fresh blackberries and a basil leaf

8. Enjoy!
