Yield: 2 Cocktails

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Honey

  • 1/2 Cup Water

  • 1.5oz Lemon Juice

  • 3oz Gin

Recipe

  1. Make the honey syrup by adding the honey and water to a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Stir until honey is dissolved, then let cool and pour into a glass jar (when done with use, seal tightly with a lid and it will keep refrigerated for about a month)

  3. Combine Gin (3oz), Lemon Juice (1.5oz), and 1oz of your honey syrup in a cocktail shaker

  4. Shake vigorously for 30-45 seconds

  5. Prepare a glass with a single large cube of ice

  6. Pour the cocktail over ice

  7. Garnish with a lemon peel twist and enjoy!
