Ingredients
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Water
3oz Lemon Juice
3oz Gin
6oz Club Soda or Sparkling Water
Recipe
Make the simple syrup by adding the granulated sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until the sugar is dissolved, then let cool and pour into a glass jar (when done with use, seal tightly with a lid and it will keep refrigerated for about a month)
Combine Gin (3oz), Lemon Juice (3oz), and 1oz of your simple syrup in a cocktail shaker
Shake vigorously for 30-45 seconds
Prepare a glass with a single large cube of ice
Pour the cocktail over ice, then top off with club soda
Garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy!
